What are suitable and existing types of clients at MAM?

Accountants, Lawyers, Professional Offices, Medical, Dental Care, Health care, Building & Construction, Retail, Clubs/Societies, E-Commerce Companies, Estate Agents, Engineering, Police, Local Government, I.T... the list is extensive.

Why use MAM?

MAM is a well established family owned business with a strong client base across many aspects of the Logistics chain. We have great infrastructure and systems established over many years.

What is the cost?

Our rates can be found here . There are no 'hidden costs' at MAM. Our charges reflect collection, storage, retieval and deliveries, and our warehouse management systems ensure that any activity is affected immediately so no charges are made for goods that have left the site. The cost of storage at MAM is totally variable and clients only pay for any space and/or service provided.

Can MAM Collect?

Yes MAM has a daily collection service within a 25 mile radius of Sandbach. We also offer an Emergency two hour collection and delivery service.

Do you supply cartons?

Yes MAM can provide industry standard style storage cartons at competitive rates.

Can MAM arrange its own staff to attend our premises and pack cartons including any documentation?

Yes. Charges are normally made based on an hourly rate.

How do I organise retrieval?

By telephone or email. AM retrieval are delivered PM. PM retrievals are delivered next day AM. Urgent deliveries can be made within two hours. Documents can be made available for personal collection after one hour.

How do I organise a collection?

By telephone or email and cartons can be collected at our security lodge within an hour.

Can I have 24/7 access to my documents?

Yes. As a client you will recieve a dedicated security-coded 24 hour number which we enable you to retrieve documents outside standard office hours by exception.

Can I deliver and collect personally?

Yes. There are no restrictions at MAM. We require an hour's notification and then documents can either be collected at security or viewed in our viewing room.

Is there a limit of cartons applied?

Yes. Ten cartons.

How are my cartons located?

Cartons are stored by location as part of our warehouse management system. Individual labels can be provided by MAM to assist in the client to catalogue the contents.

Is there any weight and/or dimension restrictions?

No. Although the main part of this department is based on standard document filing cartons... the benefit by association of the main facility is that MAM can indeed accomodate all manner of requirements. From individual documents to entire short-term storage solutions of offices during decorating periods, and even the contents of other warehouses.

Is an on-site viewing room available?

Yes. Clients have access to view documents whilst taking a cup of coffee!

Are the details of my cartons kept on a data system?

Yes by location, and any retrieval and collections are made by reference to these specific locations.

How does MAM guarantee security?

The Document Storage Department is secure within our main facility and as such only a dedicated team operate from this area.

Will my items be safe?

MAM already has exceptional security facilities. We are not part of a general industrial estate environment and as such, we do not receive unwanted or unsolicited visitors. All visitors, deliveries have to first be booked in with our security. The site is then monitored by 24 hour recorded CCTV systems, smoke detection systems via Red Care. The site is gated with perimeter fencing.

Why document storage and not self-storage?

The main reasons are intimated above, but we do above all else pride ourselves of the privacy attributed to our facility. No nosey neighbours, no lock-ups, and certainly no clients get access to any other client's private files. All cartons are delivered and sealed to MAM, and will be retieved in the same way.

Given that you are a part of a larger organisation, can you provide short-term storage space for general purposes?

Yes. MAM can handle all kinds of scenarios... from short-term storage of office suites, whilst the decorating team get on with the job unhindered to short to medium term arrangements of entire buildings, plant and warehouses whilst clients are simply awaiting relocation.

What about MAM ? How large is it, how long have you been established?

MAM has been established for 10 years.

Who owns MAM?

MAM is a privately family owned company. We have no benefactors or investment funders. The four Directors are all involved in key day-to-day activities and decision making within the business.
